Met up with these cuties for a Daisy Session this past weekend. Don’t you just love redheads? I always wished my hair was red and curly – and alas it is neither of those things.
Daisy Sessions are a great way to get some portraits of your kids without having a full Lily Session. Daisy Sessions are special events and I plan to have one in the fall. Everyone loves to have those autumn portraits, so it’s a great way for me to fit everyone into my limited schedule!
The cobblers children have no shoes. And therefore the photographer’s children have no recent images hanging on the walls of their home! I’m trying to remedy that situation by getting some recent shots of my kids. My kids normally want NOTHING to do with the camera and any images I do get are by bribing and yelling. My oldest though humors me a bit more and lets me play a bit, but loses interest once I start barking orders like the paprazzi – “No, stand over THERE! Hold your dress that way! LOOK AT ME!”. Any way you slice it, I’m happy I walked away with at least one shot of each of them. Now I just have to get around to printing them and hanging them!

I had so much fun photographing the winner of the Sweet Little Flower contest last night! I love this location too, because I always encourage my clients to jump right in the creek at the end of the session. Great way to cool off AND get some great shots!

We able to fight off the rain long enough to get some great images to celebrate her first year. Yaddo is one of my very favorite places to have a session! So beautiful with all of the flowers, statues, stonework and iron gates.

I hope all of my readers had a fabulous Father’s Day! We had a very low-key day that ended with some fun. My dear husband decided he wanted hibachi, so we ended up at Hana’s in Albany. The food was yummy and the kids got a kick out of watching the chef prepare everything. Jack especially enjoyed the peeing doll! Adelaide got to try a bit off of everyone’s plate and decided that the noodles were for her (good thing I love her so much because she took half of my noodles!).
